Introduction

Hello… my name is Dee Hausletter and I make my living working in hospital administration. I am married, have a wonderful family and a wonderful life. I am active in my church, but more importantly, I am strong in my faith which requires me follow the spirit when it calls on me…

My passion in particular, is to help others wherever I see a genuine need. I have worked with several local charitable organizations, but often became disillusioned with the politics involved with so many of them. I saw too many deserving people turned away because they didn’t fit the criteria of a particular organization. And to me, that was a shame. I also know of several charities that do GREAT work but are also overwhelmed by the needs of their community.

I was inspired to do pro-bono work nearly four years ago by a family who desperately needed help, but could not get help through traditional resources. I knew I’d have to think outside the box to get them the help they needed and deserved .

Pro-bono fundraising proved to be the most effective way, for me to make a difference and I have been doing it ever since. To date, I have helped twelve families, and have raised a total of 12,000.00, of which every last dime went directly to the families in need. And I hope to help many more which is the primary purpose of this blog.

Thank you for stopping by.

Sincerely,

D.Hausletter
